I gave Kiwihousesitters a try, but my overall feeling was that it just didn’t inspire much confidence. Maybe I expected too much, but the verification side felt minimal to me, and I kept wondering how much anyone was actually being checked before being allowed on the site.

When I raised concerns, the support didn’t feel especially quick or clear, which made me even more uneasy. In my view, if you’re trusting someone with your home and pets, the platform needs to feel really solid and reassuring. This one didn’t, so I wouldn’t use it again.

My experience with support has been hit or miss. Sometimes they respond eventually, but most of the time it feels like I’m waiting way too long to hear back, which gets frustrating.

There just weren’t many sits near my area, so the fee felt kind of wasted. I kept checking, thinking maybe more would pop up, but not really. For what I was able to use it for, it just felt a little too expensive.
